"My

阿雅看了這個句子，覺得
worker 用的滿奇怪，.她問提孟思老師,這句子有甚麼問題：
的確，提孟思老師說， worker 通常指的是工廠裡從事勞力活動的工人，是藍領階級，
而辦公的人、管理行銷人員是白領階級，他們用的字是 employee，阿雅日本朋友的父親在 sales
department 是行銷業務部，應用 employee比較合適。
提孟思老師對 belong to the sales department 也有意見，阿雅一時倒沒看出甚麼不對，老師說：
英文裡，人們可以 belong to 某教會(church)、俱樂部 (club) 或 政黨
(political parties) ，但是說 belong to a company (屬於某公司)給人一種公司的奴隸的感覺，老師說：
people work for a company，替公司工作， they work at
their companies 8-10 hours a day. 一般人，一天在公司工作
8 到 10小時，下了班就是自己的時間了，奴隸則歸主人所有，Slaves belong to
their masters. 如果是幫派或某種宗教派別，個人失去了自由，用belong to
就有可能，阿雅倒覺得中文 "屬於" 並沒有像英文 "belong to" 那麼嚴重。
